Tuff Like Iron blends reggae, roots, hip-hop, R&B and Afropop on sophomore album
Trinidad-born, St. Vincy singer, songwriter and producer Tuff Like Iron (born Kindele Aixe ) is preparing to release her upcoming sophomore album, ILEMENTAL. The album is a fusion of reggae, roots, hip hop, R&B and Afrobeats inspired sounds with Tuff’s trademark personality and upbeat vocals decorating each riddim.
ILEMENTAL premiered on Tuff’s earthstrong this past Thursday, May 28th, on all digital streaming platforms via WAKEUPSTAR* and Sam Diggy Music, and will feature tracks like the lead single Ganja Army; and the previous singles Playlist and Never Did Know, all produced by Sam Diggy. The album will also feature other collaborations with Yeza, Attitude & Fuze.

Tuff Like Iron is happy to present her most recent body of work, and acknowledges the growth in both her sound and lyrics. She hopes the project reaches worldwide and to always spread a positive message in her music.
In addition to releasing ILEMENTAL on streaming platforms, Tuff will also be releasing limited-edition merchandise and has done a series of IG Live appearances, including the recent “Buds & Brushes.” She also is planning a virtual tour for the album.
